I was having a hard time constructing the device that I finally abandoned my previous sketch for the image gallery project. Instead of having the second wheel follow the main wheel on top, I had it follow on its side. Not only does it create the same desired effect, but it was much easier to build.

Still playing around with controlling the main image. In this version, vertical movement of the main image is controlled with sin().
